Diwali is the festival of lights. It was the day when lord Ram came back to Ayodhya after many years. It signifies the victory of good over evil. The lights signify the internal purity of AATMA i.e. the purity of the soul. Hindus all around the world celebrate it with enthusiasm. Diyas i.e. candles are lighted, rangoli is made, crackers are burst and sweets are gifted to family and friends. People decorate their house by flowers and lights. It is a really beautiful sight. I must say it is the best time to visit India. Goddess LAXMI (goddess of wealth) & lord GANESH (god of auspicious beginnings ) are worshipped for a prosperous and safe year ahead. So a very HAPPY DIWALI!!
